API tokens

API tokens are a powerful feature for developers who want to interact with our Fishjam Cloud programmatically. Enabling direct API access allows users to automate workflows, integrate with other applications, and build custom solutions on top of our platform.

Managing an API Token

Creating

To generate a new API token, go to API Tokens tab in the Settings and click the Add new button. After the token is generated, it will be displayed to you one time only.

warning

It is imperative that you copy the token and store it in a secure location, such as a password manager. This token serves as your authentication key for API access and cannot be retrieved once the dialog is closed.

Deleting

To delete an API token, click on the trash icon and confirm your choice.
